Since 2015 Maja has been with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Gov. & Cities programme where she's been focusing on supporting governmental agencies and business support organisations in driving circular economy initiatives. Beyond this specific function, she coordinates the Foundation’s cross-team policy group, whose aim is to ensure alignment of the Foundation’s policy-related work and collaboration with governments.

Maja has an interdisciplinary background and has previously worked with regional strategic energy planning in Denmark.
