Jane is a senior investment officer in the European Investment Bank.

Following 8 years as a forest, land use and fisheries sector specialist with the Bank, she is currently the operational lead for the Bank's 'Natural Capital Investment Facility' (NCFF), which aims to finance nature conservation and climate adaptation projects in the EU.

Throughout her work she has an interest in sustainable land use and stewardship of nature in an increasingly resource-constrained world.

Jane is a biologist by training, having studied at Oxford University, Imperial College London and Trinity College Dublin. Her research background is on the impacts on biodiversity of CAP-financed agri-environment schemes. Prior to joining the Bank Jane worked with the European Environment Agency in Copenhagen, the Irish Environmental Protection Agency and the European Commission (DG ENV).
