Ece Ozdemiroglu, founding director of eftec, is an environmental economist with 25 years’ of experience. Her work involves collating and interpreting evidence on the economic value of natural capital, in particular for the benefits that are not captured by markets. Such evidence is used to demonstrate the value, options appraisal and making a case for investment in natural capital.

Outside eftec, Ece is a member of the Climate Change Committee Adaptation Sub-Committee, a steering group member of the Natural Capital Initiative and the Economics lead of the Valuing Nature Programme.
