Based on the report published in September by ICAS, IIRC and the Green Economy Coalition (entitled “The Sustainable Development Goals, Integrated Thinking and the Integrated Report”), this session will look at how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) inter-relate and which of these relate to natural capital. It will also explore how an organisation’s contribution towards the SDGs can be accounted for in its annual report.
Delegates will gain an understanding of the SDGs and the extent to which they address natural capital. They will learn who the SDGs are targeted at, how they should be achieved, what targets underlie them and which key performance indicators have been identified to measure progress.
