Cindy co-heads Aberdeen’s Stewardship function which focuses on engagement withholdings, being an active investor and promoting responsible ownership across the group. She leads Aberdeen’s approach in incorporating key, material ESG related issues into the investment decision making processes across asset classes and in escalating engagement as part of active ownership.

Cindy joined Aberdeen through the acquisition of Murray Johnstone in 2000. Previously, she worked at the US Tax Court in Washington, D.C.
