Sylivie started working for the LVMH group as a researcher in food microbiology in 1983 after studying Food Science at Cornell University (US) where she became a Doctor-engineer in Agronomic sciences.

As of 1992, she created the Environment department for the Holding and becomes the Environment Director of the Group.

She is a member of several associations linked to the environment and is currently member of the Board of the Foundation for Research on Biodiversity, of France Green Cross, of 4D and of the RESP Platform (Geneva).
