Simon Milne MBE
Chief Executive, Scottish Wildlife Trust
Simon has been Chief Executive of the Scottish Wildlife Trust since 2004. Previously he was Director of the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens & Arboretum, Hampshire (2000-2004). From 1976 to 2000 he served with the Royal Marines (invalided in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel). His service ranged from Bosnia and Northern Ireland to the jungle, Whitehall, and the Arctic. He was appointed MBE in 1996.
He is a Graduate of the University of St Andrews and Royal Naval College Greenwich. His is a member of the Scottish Biodiversity Committee, National Species Reintroductions Forum, Scottish Beaver Trial Steering Group and the national Partnership Against Wildlife Crime Executive Committee.
