Sandra Rapacioli

Head of Sustainability Research and Policy, CIMA

Sandra Rapacioli is Head of Sustainability at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), responsible for the development of strategy, research and policy on sustainable business. With a particular focus on the business benefits from sustainability and the role of Finance, Sandra has authored/ co-authored several reports including: Sustainability Performance Management: How CFO’s can unlock value and Thirsty Planet: Business Reponses to water scarcity. She has also advised the UK Government on adaptation skills for the built environment and worked with DEFRA to develop a Climate Resilience Toolkit for SMEs.

A linguist, with over twelve years research experience Sandra was previously Head of Consumer Finance at Euromonitor and worked on consumer policy issues as policy advisor at the Office of Fair Trading and senior researcher at Which? Magazine.
