Sanath Ranawana is a Senior Natural Resources Management Specialist with the Asian Development Bank. He has over 15 years of work experience in the environment and natural resource sectors and has worked with several organizations including the United Nations Environment Programme and the World Bank. He currently manages a portfolio of environment and natural resource programs and projects in the Greater Mekong Subregion of Southeast Asia. He holds Masters degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA and the University of Texas at Austin, USA
