Rashila joined Holcim in 2002 and is currently part of the corporate sustainable development team.  One of her projects is leading the global biodiversity programme.  Her experience includes creating policies and strategies to embed sustainable development within the company and managing environmental issues including air, water, oil, waste, and biodiversity impacts.  She has worked on developing and implementing global projects, communicating and influencing stakeholders, and building organizational capacity.  Her work includes conducting assessments to identify emission reductions levers, developing project permitting strategies, conducting multi-media audits, implementing management systems, and training site personnel.

Prior to joining Holcim, Rashila was an environmental consultant working with clients in automotive and public sectors, covering a broad range of environmental issues.  Her main projects included obtaining permits, certifying plans, and identifying bottlenecks in wastewater distribution systems.

Rashila is licensed Professional Engineer and holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Civil/ Environmental Engineering and an MBA.
