David Norman is Senior Manager for Sustainable Development Policy at SABMiller, responsible for the company’s engagement in policy processes across sustainable development issues.

Before this role, he was WWF-UK’s Director of Campaigns and Director of External Affairs for five years, working on a wide range of environmental issues with UK and European policy-makers and businesses. 

He was previously Director of Policy and Communications for the Liberal Democrats, co-Chair of the Commonwealth Education Fund’s Management Committee and global Education Adviser for Save the Children UK.

He has an MPhil in Sociology and Politics of Developing Countries from Cambridge University.

David is also a trustee of Saferworld, a not-for-profit organisation working to create safer communities in places affected by violent conflict.
