Alan is a Partner at PwC in the UK and is a key person in the development of PwC’s global network around impact measurement.   He is developing the Total Impact Measurement and Management (TIMM) reporting framework for companies that will allow an organisation to understand their broader impacts across the environmental, social, economic and financial space that they operate in.

His experience includes leading the work from PwC with PUMA and the development of the worlds first Environmental Profit & Loss account (EP&L). Other companies like Gucci, Scottish and Southern Energy, Luxottica and a global motorcycle manufacturer – are all additional companies that he is leading work on around developing environmental and natural capital accounting and the broader societal issues that affect them.

He also has significant expertise in the development of corporate reporting around the measurement and assurance of sustainability information.  Leading a number of sustainability assurance engagements like Aviva, SABMiller and Lloyds Banking Group.
