C6: Workshop

Natural infrastructure: the new normal in cities?

Have you ever wondered how cities could benefit more from nature? Issues from flooding and erosion to air pollution and noise disturbances can be tackled using natural infrastructure, not only man-made solutions.

In this highly interactive workshop, you will be placed in the position of an urban planner who needs to include natural infrastructure in a proposal to the city. Through this, you will work with leading experts in this field to explore the opportunities of leveraging natural infrastructure in a cities context and identify barriers to implementation and enablers towards mainstreaming.
