Andrew Deitz is Co-founder and Vice President of Business Development at Climate Earth. Founded in 2008 Climate earth is a leader in systems to help the largest organization manage sustainably. With his guidance Climate Earth transformed academic research of Top Down Hybrid Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) into a commercially viable product offering. The innovation of uniting the power of big data, systems, and LCA in a unique standards based patent pending approach to quantify sustainability enables large companies' to effectively manage and report environmental impacts.
Mr. Deitz is deeply involved in the definition and marketing of large-scale systems for sustainable management. Climate Earth's data and services successfully support the deployment of Natural Capital Accounting (NCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). The company’s solutions efficiently integrate critical LCA, ecosystem services, environmental, supply chain and financial data from multiple, large, disparate sources into a cohesive model. Metrics are delivered in financial and business context providing a management reporting system to build brand, manage risk and reduce resource costs in a familiar web based format.
Before Climate Earth Andrew was instrumental in launching human capital services for a newly-created private equity fund, and he led business development efforts for the start-up phase of a diversified recruiting company. Mr. Deitz began his career as an environmental research scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratories after graduating from Earlham College with Bachelors of Science degree. He is also passionate cyclist and urban farmer.
