Namita Vikas spearheads sustainable development, responsible finance, climate action and Corporate Social Responsibility at Yes Bank.

Part of the top management, as Senior President & Chief Sustainability Officer of Yes Bank, she leads the bank’s objective of creating stakeholder value through social and sustainability interventions, by effectively managing programs, governance, research & triple bottom-line accounting. Facilitating climate finance and investing in social entrepreneurship, strategic philanthropy is core to her role.

She is elected to Global Steering Committee of United Nations Environment Program-Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) and serves as the UNEP FI APAC chair. She is also the chairperson of UN Natural Capital Declaration (NCD). In addition, she serves on Yes Foundation board and guides its overall strategy. Besides this, she also holds positions with Advisory Boards of Asia Venture Philanthropy Network, Responsible Investment Research Association (RIRA), UNEP-FI Banking Commission, World Resource Institute - India GHG Program and Indian Centre for CSR (ICCSR).

As a climate action specialist, she is often invited to speak at national and international public platforms, given her expertise, over the past 26 years of passionately innovating on pathways for sustainable development.
